(Happy mom day)
I hope everyone enjoyed Spring Fever as much as we did. It was great to see as many kids there since this being the first time the fest has happened and it was at a sportsman club. We played at 7pm and had a great time. Lot of dancers...I was praying the floor wouldn't cave in the whole time I was playing. Silence the wake and the conqueror worm played later so we stuck around for them. All the bands played very well I though...I was impressed by the swellers, there drummer got some moves. Thanks to Joey, Sheila and Ryan and everyone else that came out it was lots o fun.

The weekend of the 16th...raaahhhhhh [18 Apr 2004|01:41pm]
April 16th, 2004 @ Olde Jamestown hall W/A Vivid Betrayal, Signs of Collapse
Once again the hall in sagnasty out did itself. We love coming to old jamestown and playing with AVB and this time Arms Of got to come and rock. So flint pride all the way. Anyways...we played and i fucked up the new song...but it was still fun. We were about to leave...and pow our bus wouldnt start, we called Don to see if he could get it fixed but no dice. So we unloaded all our stuff off the bus and into the back of Dons truck cause we had a show the following day...then me and sheila drove back with him to get our cars to drive allll the way back to sagnasty to get the rest of the bitches. Lotta driving but I had fun...rock n roll

April 17th, 2004 @ Easter H.S. W/for the fallen dreams, flesh and blood robot
First of all...this school was the biggest schol i've ever been into. It made lakeville look like a dollar store. We played in the autotorium...and they even had a backstage for the bands with food and everything. We felt out of place...but hey we were playing with rock stars i guess. Lotta fun though...it was good to see fox and everyone from know lyfe again...good guys indeed. we played our set (4 songs so know lyfe could play for an hour ha). the highlight of the night was dennys though i think. our watress called josh a goth kid and all hell broke loose. we're hitting up the texan after the church show...anyways yeah, autotoriums arn't good for playing heavy music in...especially if your drums are mic'd...but not turned on. footbag and french fries for this show...yowza wow come to the show(s) next weekend.

NOISEFEST 2004 [11 Apr 2004|02:02pm]
Noisefest is always fun to be a part of no matter what. Rudy and everyone did a splended job this year and alot of people showed up. So rock. We were glad to see that a vivid betrayal was added to the bill...them kids are one of the funnest bands to watch. They represent Sagnasty like whoa yall. We played right after them and had lots of fun...we're really excited that Rudy an the guys decided to make a dvd and do interviews and what not...great idea for noisefest. It can only get better and better as the years go by. We played most of our songs and ended with our newest song "pass the rock to the drunken professor" i'm not sure if people dug it but hey it was all around fun. We stuck around for a little while and talked to the other bands. I wanted to stick around for silence the wake but the food siuation was eating at our stomachs...so we had to get big boy. I thought about coming back but no dice. Sorry curtiss. Thanks to everyone that showed up, a vivid betrayal, silence the wake, rudy, terry, josh for the interview, mark, wade, joel, anyone that played footbag with us, joey, paul, sheila for takin pics, know lyfe for being good guys, the arms of kids (good tour guys), and anyone that bought a cd. Thanks and we hope to see you at the next show. go wings...

March 27th, 2004 @ Joe Jagos party W/the conqueror worm, a vivid betrayal, diver, takeout, kaliima [28 Mar 2004|03:55pm]
This was a treat of a party/show to play at. We got there and inspected the basement...SO SMALL! Te stairs leading down to the basement were the steepest thing i've ever seen too. But we managed to get all our shit down there and all the bands played really well with no troubles or anything. Diver played first. I dug them...there singer does some pretty cool effects with his voice. Takeout played after them...I like there lyrics, lot's of fuck you's gotta love it. We played third...I had alot of fun playing. Once and awhile it seemed a tad crowded but whatever people were there and it was a rad set up I thought. A vivid betrayal played right after us...we wish them luck in finding a new van and everything...if anyone knows how to help out in anyway get ahold of them. They played a real great set though, TCW Kyle sang a song with them it was great. After them was Kaliima...all I can really say is Kevin Smith + a microphone + beer = hilarious. The Conqueror Worm played last...this was there first show in like 2 years or so and I thought it sounded like they never broke up or stopped playing there songs they were really tight. It's gonna be a thrill playing shows with them this summer we can't wait. Anyways yeah this was a interesting/weird/small/drunk/nutty show but we had lots of fun. Thanks to whoever came out and clapped or yelled woo. see everyone at noisefest April 10th @ the flint local 432...

March 26th, 2004 @ Corswell Lions Club W/ As the dust settles, a vivid betrayal [28 Mar 2004|03:41pm]
Eddie Perry got us yet another show at the hall in Croswell. We told them about A Vivid Betrayal so they got on the bill with us...rad stuff. We got there and watched a band from Chicago play...I forgot there name but they were pretty rad I thought. A vivid betrayal got lost but managed to show up and catch a spot right before us...there good kids go to there shows and dance people! We played our set and had lots of fun...no major string breakage or head cracking. The kids in croswell seemed to dig all the bands...which is good cause hey thats what you go to shows for right...dig good music n stuff har har har. Anyways...we played then as the dust settles closed the night with a brutal set of new songs. I remember playing with them waaaaaay back around last summer in port huron at the noruh grotto. They sounded really good friday night though...lotta nutty stuff going on but the kids dug it. Oh and if your a hxc dancer...don't slap the air or push it with your hands...punch the living shit out of it...jeez. good show woo...

March 13th @ Old Jamestown Hall - W/ A Vivid Betrayal [14 Mar 2004|02:37pm]
[ mood | sick ]
[ music | tenacious d - wonder boooy ]

Playing at jamestown hall in Sagnasty is always a treat. That place seems to just fill itself up right from the start. We got there a little bit late cause we had no clue what time we needed to be there. But luckily we got to play right before A Vivid Betrayal. We played our newest song first...we do that alot it seems and I dunno why. We should make "set lists" like we did back in the day. It was lots of fun though...We stuck around for A Vivid Betrayal so Damian and Derrick could do there signature hardcore dance move "the sledge hammer" if you missed then i'm sorry cause it was hilarious. We took off right after AVB got done and made a mad dash to the closest taco bell. We've all been listening to the Tenacious D cd alot lately...and Derrick just bought the DVD as well. So it's been a Tenacious D weekend. I dunno if I can listen to "climb up on my faithful steeed...then we gonna ride gonna smoke some weeed" again since i've heard about 1,000,000,000,000 times over the past 3 days. There funny as hell though...Jack Black is a good singer. I dunno why i'm writing about Tenacious D...anyways there awesome. The show was fun Saturday...Thanks to whoever came out and danced, AVB, Detra, The 14 year old girls that wanted to marry our bus, and Drew from Alogon for letting us barrow his purple pen. See ya next show hopefully...

February 28th - Flint Local 432 - W/ Arms of, Downtown Brown [29 Feb 2004|08:35pm]
We wanted to go see the passion of the christ before this show but never got around to it cause it was sold out. I wonder how controversial that movie is...anyone know? Anyways we got there right before downtown brown went on. I had never seen these guys and wasn't really expecting what I seen. They were all about the comedy and they reminded me alot of tenacious D or anything to do with the talented and funny mister Jack Black. It was good music though they had me goin. We played right after them and had lots of fun...it's always great to play in Flint the kids always seem welcoming in a weird gothic young type of way. We miss the old local thats for sure...the new place is nice to play at but I wouldn't like seeing my favorite band there. But hey it's rad Flint has a venue to go to whenever you want and catch a show thats for damn sure. We played most of our songs and got tired cause we're fat pieces of shit...I think it took me about 2 hrs to tear down my drums and put them back in the bus, im getting old i think jk. Arms of played last and tore shit up hardcore style. Them kids shouldnt break up anytme soon cause there gonna get nothing but better and better...we toured with them for 2 long days haha and boy oh boy we're gonna miss it. All burning cities and arms of has to do now is a stadium tour and we'll be all set. Wooshoo have fun kids keep checking the flyers and we hope to see you at some shows...

Feb 27th @ FOE in Mt Pleasent with/arms of, the swellers, the matalie fight, SILENCE THE WAKE!!!! [28 Feb 2004|03:11pm]
This was yet another very very fun show...it was crazy because more than half of the bands on the bill are from the Flint area...and we were all playing in Mt Pleasent. Talk about a local music scene taking over the human race and everything to do with mankind...Anyways we got there with no sweat and had to wait for Damian cause he had to make pizza's until 8. But we got there in time for some of the swellers...they were real tight i enjoyed it. The natalie fight played they impressed me...lots of energy, gotta love it. Arms of played...these kids are where its at. They've gotten alot tighter since i've last seen them. Silence the wake played right before us...there bass player is a badass. We played and it was fun...there was a huge yellow ball chandelier in the middle of the space we played at and it was a pretty rad enviroment i thought. The bathroom doors in that place were like 10 feet tall for some reason. Very cool though. Anyways...yeah go to the local tonight. Bye...

Feb 7th @ Olde Jamestowne Hall W/Aloon, The decomp of us, Fordirelifesake, salt the earth, fbtmof [09 Feb 2004|03:52pm]
[ music | meshuggah - sane ]

This was a splended show once again. It's always fun to play at jamestowne hall. Good vibes maaaaan. We made this show a tribute to basketball show. Yes basketball is a good sport! Anyways We played first because the first band was switched to last when we got there...BUT we didn't care at all cause we'll rock anytime anywhere playa. It was lots of fun although I(Dan) messed up on the last song and got pissed but hey I still had fun and i'm sure the other fellas did as well. We stuck around for some of the other bands but didn't have it in us to catch fordirelifesake or any of the signed bands that were playing later on (we kept thinking about pizza so we had to leave after awhile). The decomposition of us was really good...and it was Alogon's last show and they did a fabulous job. Kacie and Sheila went with us...and we seen Ami and Michelle there so rock n roll seeing people you know is a plus. We'll have pictures soon on our new website so rock n roll. Speaking of the website...the address for it is temporarily changed so go to http://www.geocities.com/burningcitiescrew if you would like to see it. The address will be changed to www.burningcities.net soon so keep checking that too and hopefully we'll have it up and running soooooooon. We have hella shows in february and march so we hope to see you all there dancing and having a marvelous time. Farewell and don;t forget to write...

January 30th, 2004 @ The Ukitan W/Summer Dying, The Monroe Autopsy, FASSW, For the fallen dreams [31 Jan 2004|06:22pm]
This was a very very interesting show. The place was called the ukitan in grand ledge and it was actually a tanning salon. But I seen no evidence of any artificial tanning goin on (no tanning beds or hot girl oils?) Anyways...we got lost like always and got there right in time to go on...we plopped the bus in front and rushed all our shit in. We played in the smallest space i've ever seen ever. In all we had a 5 foot radius to set up it seemed like but it was oh so fun. We played a 6 song set and loved the feedback. The Monroe Autopsy played right after us...they bring the chug everytime. We wanted to stay for the rest of the bands but were scared of the on going fear of S-N-O-W. So we packed up a bit early and headed to taco bell before hitting the ole I-69 stretch back to f-f-f-flint town. It was great to play again and we hope to see as many people as possible at our shows...or at any shows for that matter. Support the local scenes maaaan!!!! Thanks to Kacie, Joey and Chris for coming along with us. Next show is febuary 7th at jamestown hall with some pretty big touring bands so we hope to see you all there. boobs!

December 5th @ The VFW in Charlotte w/ For the fallen dreams, flesh and blood robot [06 Dec 2003|10:42pm]
This show was super rad. Thanks a ton to the kids from for the fallen dreams for getting us this show. We had lots of fun. The drive wasn't as far as we thought it was...just a tad south of lansing. We played with flesh and blood robot (one away from breathing) nice bunch of guys. Thanks to fox for his lovely statement "are any of you guys gay? cause i wanna fuck every single one of you" gotta love it. We played last for whatever reason and lots of kids stayed and rocked with us. We always love playing for new people and in towns we've never been to before...makes it all worth while. I can't say thanks enough to everyone who went with us (kacie, sheila), talked to us, played with us, said hello or just clapped after our songs. It all means the world to us and we thank you over and over! If your from Flint or visit the Flint area often make sure your at the flint local on december 13th. we haven't played in flint in a good while and we wanna make the best out of it...so come have fun with us!
